Founded in 1911, Nivea is one of the global cosmetic brands specializing in skincare and body care, belonging to the Beiersdorf AG. Since its inception, Nivea has immediately gained worldwide popularity thanks to a special skincare ingredient called Eucerit. Eucerit is the basis for the birth of Nivea creme - The name Nivea comes from the Latin word "nix, nivis" and means "snow". Just three years after Nivea creme made its debut in Hamburg, it rapidly presents on every continent, and nearly half of Nivea's sales come from abroad. By 1914, its products were being manufactured not only in Hamburg but also in Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Mexico, Moscow, New York, Paris and Sydney.
