Nut Market

Although a nut market festival may appear amateurish, Luxembourgers go nuts gathering walnuts at the Veiner Nssmoort nut market in the fall. Nut Market festival is traditionally held on the second Sunday in October in Vianden's main street, which is lined with vendors selling traditional nuts and nut products, nut breads, and nut schnapps, as well as the usual beer and sausages.

The youngsters can enjoy music and activities. If you want to buy exquisite nut liquor, nut paté, or just a bunch of nuts, be prepared to bring a lot of cash. It only happens once a year, so don’t miss this unique and famous festival!
