Obamacare significantly decreased the number of americans who lack insurance

President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), also known as Obamacare, into law on March 23, 2010. Obamacare expanded Medicaid eligibility and made significant modifications to the individual insurance markets, resulting in higher coverage.
