Ohana Camp
When you think about it, there are many parallels between weddings and summer camp—bonding, fun, a relaxed atmosphere, and so on. You and up to 170 of your loved ones can stay in the Main Lodge, cabins, or other on-site accommodations at this family camp in Post Mills, Vermont, and enjoy an entire wedding weekend full of activities. Your ceremony can take place in the spectacular outdoor space with panoramic mountain views, and your reception can take place in the rustic barn space. Ohana Camp is the perfect setting for a relaxed destination wedding.
Ohana, a historic retreat site with stunning natural beauty, was built in the early 1900s primarily as a getaway for families with children attending the numerous summer overnight camps that were then operating along the Lake Fairlee shore. On 116 acres of woodlands, fields, and waterfront, their camp currently consists of 21 rustic cabins with one to four bedrooms, a New England-style dining hall, and a variety of outbuildings. Their property begins on the shores of Lake Fairlee and climbs uphill to the camp's location at the top of the ridge. The land is both wooded and open, with stunning views down the Middlebrook Valley.
