Old Town's iconic wood and canvas canoes have always remained in production, despite no longer being manufactured at the Old Town Canoe facility in Maine. In light of the factory closure, the company has entered into a contract with Island Falls Canoe, owned by Jerry Stelmok of Atkinson, to handle the construction and upkeep of their wooden canoes.
