Only Fools And Horses (1981-2003)
Only Fools and Horses is a British sitcom developed and written by John Sullivan. From 1981 to 1991, seven seasons were shown on BBC One in the United Kingdom, with sixteen occasional Christmas specials airing until the show's cancellation in 2003. It is set in working-class Peckham, south-east London, and stars David Jason as ambitious market trader Derek "Del Boy" Trotter and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney Trotter, as well as a supporting cast.
Only Fools And Horses is still holding up better than it should. Despite being over forty years old, the laughter has not subsided. The amusing Trotters and their get-rich-quick schemes put them in a variety of hilarious scenarios that have made people laugh for decades. It may exaggerate the cockney part of Del Boy to the nth degree and transform Rodney into a walking parody of ignorance, but it's exactly right. Try not to giggle while watching the sequence in which Del Boy falls backward into the bar.
