As of 2019, it was the largest hosting provider in Europe and the third largest in the world in terms of physical servers. The Klaba family created the company in 1999, and it is headquartered in Roubaix, France. In French law, OVH is organized as a simplified joint-stock company. OVHcloud became its public brand name in 2019.
