Pactola Lake
The largest and deepest lake in the Blue Hills National Forest is this pristine lake-Pactola Lake. A visitor center is run by the US Forest Service on the south side of the 1952-built dam, which is controlled by the Bureau of Reclamation, along with the surrounding area, which is part of the Black Hills National Forest. There are campgrounds, hiking paths, picnic spaces, and a beach among the amenities.
