Paperless Post
Paperless Post is a fashion-forward online invitation firm that collaborates with designers such as Kate Spade New York, Kelly Wearstler, and Oscar de la Renta. The firm is headquartered in New York City. Paperless Post was started in 2008 by siblings James and Alexa Hirschfeld when they were 23 and 25 years old, respectively. It began as an online-only business before expanding into printed stationery in 2012. To create creative work, the firm collaborates with designers such as Kate Spade New York.
In November 2011, e-card competitor Evite released a knockoff product that virtually pixel for pixel replicated several of Paperless Post's designs. Due to industry outcry, Evite withdrew its new product from the market for more than a year. Their whole product line is planned, developed, and implemented in-house. They are serious about what they do, how they do it, and ensuring that they scale rapidly and intelligently.
