Papillon
A dog breed of the spaniel type is the Papillon, often known as the Continental Toy Spaniel. One of the oldest toy spaniels, it gets its name from the way its long, fringed ears look, which gives them a distinctive butterfly-like appearance. A Phalene is a name for a Papillon with lowered ears.
Papillons are highly clever, confident canines that pick up new skills extremely quickly. These dogs can be friendly with kids and strangers, but they are typically wary of meeting new people. They can also be trained to get along with other animals, however, caution should be exercised around boisterous animals or cats with claws since they could hurt them. Papillons can be wary and show aggressive tendencies toward other canines and people if they aren't properly socialized. Papillons can also be quite affectionate and lively.
Widely regarded as excellent companion animals, they can be gentle enough to enjoy snoozing in the arms of an equally loved owner while also possessing the passion and drive to keep up with active families. They require more activity than the typical companion breed because of their high level of energy. Due to their propensity to notify their owner to changes in their environment, papillons are renowned as great watchdogs. They might be regarded as very verbose, like many other toy dogs. They can resist heat, but because of their single-coated fur, they are more susceptible to cold temperatures and shouldn't be left outside unsupervised in the winter.
