Parnian Furniture Bed
Designed by Parnian Furniture, the Parnian Furniture Bed is a vision of Southwest architectural design brought to life in bed form. In the Arizona style, the bed's maple, sapele, and ebony frame and headboard are designed in a configuration that takes its cues from even older Mexican and Texan architectural standards. The sunburst inlay, which recalls traditional woodcarvings, is also a nod to the style. The bed, which was designed by Parnian with traditional fundamentals in mind, took eight months to handcraft by hand using traditional methods. It's almost like a work of art.
Aside from the glossy lacquer of those luxurious woods, the bed has one modern convenience in the form of touch-activated LED light displays, which illuminate the headboard as well as the floating nightstands at each side of the bed. Even though this bed would cost $210,000 to purchase, admiring its architecture is completely free of charge.

Parnian was founded in 1977 by a group of architects. As a result of their preference for exotic wood materials and glossy finishes, they have won numerous design awards in both the furniture and the housing industries. In many ways, this bed represents the culmination of their journey.
