Pasta (2010)
Gong Hyo Jin assumes the identity of the chef Seo Yoo Kyung in yet another MBC production as she continues to make appearances on Korean television. In Pasta, she portrayed an apprentice cook who progressively gained control of her life, as opposed to the single mother in the previous film, Thank You, who gave all to care for her child who had a critical disease. Reach the pinnacle of cuisine and become a well-known chef.
This Korean food-themed film was seen as quite daring for the filmmakers at the time when this was a rather discerning genre for moviegoers. However, those daring moves paid off well since they generated a lot of interest when the drama was televised. As a result, Pasta became one of the most successful films of the year and was well-received by television viewers. Once more, the cast's outstanding performance is largely responsible for the drama's popularity. Gong Hyo Jin's acting, despite not being overly stunning and exceptional, gave this character in the drama appeal.
