Payne’s Southdown Bee Farms Ltd
Paynes was founded in 1922 by Fred Payne with around 300 hives. Over the past 90 years, Paynes has continued in its family traditions but has grown to include much more of the Apiculture available, being deeply involved in honey production, equipment sales, and breeders of bees and Queens.
Today, Paynes are based across Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent and have a diverse and colorful array of flora available for the bees to forage, to ensure the bees have good sources of nectar and pollen. Paynes has harvested pure honey directly from the hives, using traditional beekeeping methods that minimize damage to the honey to maintain the goodness and sweetness of nature. No heat-treated honey, no fine filters. Paynes honey is as natural as possible to maintain all the goodness that you should find in honey.
