Peloton Tread
Peloton just announced a new treadmill to replace the original Tread+, which was recalled in 2021. The Peloton Tread is a standard treadmill with a single, sliding belt that revolves along the deck, unlike the Tread+, which had a slat-belt treadmill. This new Tread has a 12-percent slope and a comparable design and functionality to the old Tread+, with the addition of a few useful safety measures. Peloton fans will like the sharp touchscreen and entertaining Peloton programming, which includes several familiar cycling instructors teaching treadmill programs.
The Tread is much more compact than a number of other popular treadmills on the market — at 173cm long and 84cm wide, it easily fits in a spare bedroom or gym garage conversion (if you're putting it upstairs, talk to Peloton first, as this may not be recommended if you live in an older building, as it is with all treadmills). It's also quite simple to use. The treadmill's speed and inclination wheels make it simple to crank up the pace without having to reach out and stab at the touchscreen while jogging.
The lessons are what actually sets the Peloton apart from the competition in a congested market. The huge, 23.8-inch HD touchscreen shows your teacher as well as a scoreboard of other Peloton runners, ensuring that treadmill running is as enjoyable as possible.
