Penn
Otto Henze established the Penn Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1932, beginning the long and illustrious history of Penn saltwater fishing reels. Henze, a machinist who had previously worked for Ocean City Reels, contributed to his new business his knowledge of reel design.
For saltwater fishing reels, Penn is a reputable brand. Their goods are renowned for their effectiveness and cost, and they have been producing reels for more than 85 years. Anglers use Penn reels all across the world, and they have broken several IGFA world records.
Penn reels are constructed from sturdy components that can resist the demands of saltwater fishing. Even the biggest fish can be controlled with these reels' smooth drags. Additionally, Penn reels have strong gearing that makes line retrieval quick and simple.
Depending on the model and functionality, prices can range from about $25 to more than $300. The Battle II, Spinfisher VI, and Fathom II are some of the most prominent Penn saltwater reels.
