Even though people have been drinking pure fermented grapes for hundreds of years, it feels like the term "natural wine" is now merely code for "it's a cool restaurant." But at their popular downtown restaurants Wildair and the tasting-menu-only Contra, Fabián von Hauske Valtierra and Jeremiah Stone have long defended natural wines for their tastes and sustainability. With Peoples Wine Shop, a unique wine-bar and wine-shop hybrid that is situated on the cellar level of the Market Line food hall, they have gone a step further. Deliveries can only be requested at this time via email to delivery@peoples.wine.
Free shipping is available for purchases of $350.00 or more, and cases of twelve bottles are discounted by 10%. Please email them at delivery@peoples.wine if you need accommodations for people with disabilities, and they will be happy to help you with your order.
If a new bottle of the same cuvée is not available, Peoples Wine may, at their sole discretion, accept a return of the damaged or corked bottle in exchange for a replacement bottle of a comparable value or store credit. All broken or corked bottles need to be returned within two days after purchase, and they need to be cleaned up first.
