A valve included in the Philip Avent anti-colic nipples bends to allow air into the bottle rather than your baby's stomach. The valve, together with the soft silicone design of the nipple, results in a lot less colicky infant (and less dissatisfied parents/caregivers). Moreover, unlike many other anti-colic goods, you do not need to purchase a complete set.

Because the lids are low-profile and don't leak or take up too much space, the bottles are straightforward to assemble and clean, and they're quick to slip into a diaper bag on the go. The one significant disadvantage is that it lacks a curved hourglass shape, making it more difficult for babies to hold on their own.
