Ron Fream created the Champion course at the 54-hole Phoenix Golf Resort, which is less than 90 minutes from Hanoi. The second-biggest in Asia, it is the largest pure-play golf facility in Vietnam. Phoenix, Dragon, and Master are the names of the three courses. The other two play more like hilly terrain, while the Master Golf Course is an open links-style course. After their rounds, golfers can relax in the enormous clubhouse, which has every modern convenience.
