The disadvantage is that there is limited app support for routing, which must be done on a computer and uploaded — but this does enable Strava. It does not support ANT+ because it is Bluetooth only, which may be a deal breaker for individuals who have already invested in specific sensors. The Flow app provides some wonderful data displays for tracking your progress, and updates are made on a frequent basis.
