The Presto Professional EverSharp® three-stage electric knife sharpener may be used on any metal knife, from thin filet knives to heavier chef's knives and cleavers. The adjustable blade guides keep the blades at three different sharpening angles, and a slider allows you to select thick, medium, or thin blades.

The Presto Professional EverSharp® three-stage electric knife sharpener provides a little micro-serration on the blade's edge, resulting in a razor-sharp edge. It may take some time to perfect the skill of pulling blades through the sharpener. The method was a little difficult, but the end product was fairly decent. It should be noted that this cannot be used to sharpen ceramic blades and will ignite with high carbon content, however; the maker states that this is OK.
