Rent a car and try to drive to every part of PEI to get the full experience. Because the trip from one end to the other only takes around 2.5 hours, you can easily take your time and enjoy the picturesque coastline and small towns along the way. Charlottetown is an excellent place to start because it is walkable and has a lot of history. Simply step outdoors and explore the downtown streets. A charming inn and some of the greatest fish and chips you'll ever eat can be found in Saint Peters Bay, a serene but beautiful community. Some of PEI's most beautiful beaches are located in Cavendish, which is also the location of all things Anne of Green Gables.
