Both portions cover three major subjects. The first topic is how to estimate costs for project activities, which includes: Cost Types, Cost Estimation, Techniques and tools for estimating expenses, handling Risk Reserves Costs, Quality Costs, and Cost Basis of Estimates Documentation.


The following subject is How to Determine Project Budget, which covers topics such as establishing a cost baseline, estimating financing requirements, and establishing a project budget. The last subject is How to Control Project Costs by Assessing Project Performance Using Earned Value Management Techniques, Using Earned Value Management Tools to forecast project costs.
