Python Foundations for Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
This is a project-based, hands-on course that will teach you how to understand Python's essential building blocks for data analysis and business intelligence. Learners will begin by examining key Python data types and properties, as well as installing Anaconda and Jupyter Notebooks, where learners will write first lines of code.
Learners will then go through basic tools like variables, numeric and string operators, loops, custom functions, and so on. You'll discover how to build and manage raw data, define conditional logic, loop through iterables or indices, and extract values from dictionaries, lists, tuples, and other data types. You'll be a Data Analytics Intern with Maven Ski Shop, the world's #1 ski shop, for the duration of the course.
Requirements:
- No Python or programming experience required (they will cover everything you need to know!)
- They will use Anaconda & Jupyter Notebooks (a free, user-friendly coding environment)
