Qatar Academy Al Khor
Welcome to Qatar Academy Al Khor (QAK), one of the best IB schools in Qatar, which has been shaping young minds since its establishment in 2008. QAK opened its doors with little learners in Kindergarten 1 and 2, welcoming Grades 1 through 4. The goal was growth, adding one grade level each year until reaching Grade 12 in 2016. That's when they moved to a fantastic new campus in Al Khor, north of Qatar.
Qatar Academy Al Khor proudly holds the title of a full IB World School, focusing on teaching native Qatari students and longtime residents. QAK mixes a super-duper international curriculum with Qatar's special heritage and culture. Here, students get to talk and learn in both English and Arabic because most are from Qatar.

The new campus is like a dream—9 buildings, 137 classrooms, and cool labs for physics, chemistry, biology, and design technology. They also have 5 art studios and 4 music and drama classrooms. For fun, there's a huge 14,000-square-meter recreation center with a soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts, gyms, and a pool.
