Rack Centre
Rack Centre, which was founded in 2012, is Africa's only carrier and cloud-neutral Tier III Constructed Facility Certified data center, focusing entirely on offering best-in-class data center colocation services and unlimited connection between carriers and consumers. This provides customers with a more technically advanced, physically secure, and cost-effective environment for their information systems. Rack Centre's carrier neutrality enables customers to control traffic for better value, reduced latency, and improved resilience, and it offers an open market for collaborations between customers, networks, cloud and content providers, the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria, and managed service providers.
Clients of Rack Centre include 57 telecommunication carriers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), global Tier 1 networks, and pan-Africa international carriers, with direct access to all five undersea cables serving the South Atlantic Coast of Africa and every country on the African continent. They provide global cloud companies with dependable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Rack Centre allows customers to expand their footprint. They have finished designing the Hyperscale Expansion Programme. The Lagos campus expansion program is the largest in West Africa, and it will result in a building with 14.5MW of IT power and 7200 square meters of lettable area. This development is market-leading and will set the standard for regional hyper-scale data center initiatives.
