Rania Al Abdullah

Rania al-Abdullah, full name Rāniyā al-ʿAbd Allāh, was born on August 31, 1970 in Kuwait. She was the wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan. In 1999, Rania officially became the queen of Jordan when Mr. Abdullah ascended the throne. Since being crowned empress, Rania has been one of the most notable royal figures in Jordan because of her sharp looks, beauty, superior intelligence, and kind heart. King Abdullah II happened to meet Queen Rania at a dinner party held at Oxford University (UK). At that time, Rania was working for a bank in Amman city (Jordan). Two months later, they announced their engagement. Rania officially entered the Jordanian Royal Family in 1993.
