People want more out of their life than simply a wage and the status quo, thus it's a movement of growing knowledge. A growing number of individuals are weary of being sick and fatigued, and they want to reclaim control over their lives. They want to reconnect with nature, but not in the sense that their hippy parents did. They're learning that pleasure and health are natural parts of life if we follow the right route, and Mother Nature is the guide.

People are transitioning from a world of quick pleasure, self-indulgent eating, sloth, and gluttony to a life of meaningful commitment to oneself and others as a result of this transformation in thinking.
