Real Madrid is a Spanish football club founded in 1902, it was a prominent team not only in Spain but also throughout Europe during the 1950s, the club won 5 C1 Cup in a row and 7 times reached the final. Real Madrid is one of the few clubs in Europe, organized neither as a public company nor owned by an individual. Real Madrid currently owns 91,671 members ("Socios"). The club president is determined by the election of the club members every four years.
Real Madrid was recognized as FIFA's Best Club of the 20th Century on 11 December 2000. The club was also awarded the Best European Club of the 20th Century by IFFHS in 2010. In 2017, Real Madrid became the club with the most consecutive Champions League titles, extending their lead in the UEFA club rankings. The value of this club is estimated at 675 million euros.
