Regal Cinemas

Regal Cinemas is the second-largest movie theater chain in the United States and the third-largest in the world. Regal Cinemas, with its headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, was established in 1989. The company changed itself during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic from Regal Entertainment Group (not to be confused with the Filipino film production company, Regal Entertainment). During that time, Cineworld, the number two item on this list, purchased Regal Cinemas. Despite this, the corporation manages a sufficient number of independent theaters to get a high ranking on this list. Regal Cinemas employs over 26,000 full-time and part-time workers across 549 locations.

Regal Cinemas
announced its relationship with PepsiCo on January 7th, 2020, offering the corporation the right to be its number one non-alcoholic beverage supplier. This was a significant move because it ended Coke's stranglehold on supplies to the world's top three movie theater chains.
