Roki Robotics
Roki Robotics is a company that aims to improve the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with exoskeletons that can help them walk and move. Roki Robotics was founded in 2016 by a group of engineering students from Mexico who wanted to create a low-cost and accessible solution for mobility and rehabilitation. They developed Roki, a modular and powered hip-knee exoskeleton that can be customized for each user. Roki can be used by people with spinal cord injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy, or other conditions that affect their lower limbs.
Roki Robotics is self-funded by selling experimental prototypes and has received some support from the Jalisco state government. They are also looking for investors and partners to expand their production and reach more customers. Roki Robotics is an example of how innovation and social impact can go hand in hand.
