As for Saffron, the triploid form of a species found in Eastern Greece, Crocus cartwrightianus, or sometimes the flower appeared in Southern Greece on the Attic peninsula or the island of Crete. The Saffron Crocus generally blooms with purple flowers in the autumn. Each of the plants can grow about 10 to 30 cm high and the value of 10 bulbs of Saffron Crocus can sell for $6 - $1500.
