Saluki
One of the most beautiful dog breeds is the Saluki. It is referred to as the Royal Egyptian dog and first appeared on pottery, paintings, and catacombs in Egyptian tombs around 2,100 BC. Additionally, the Saluki can be found in the Bible, and Islamic literature, as well as in poems and ballads written by ancient Arabs, Assyrians, Babylonians, and Sumerians.
The breed's general appearance conveys grace and balance, combined with good running ability, tenacity, strength, and flexibility. Given that they have a short coat, the traits must be harmonized despite the variance. Salukis can easily identify and pursue prey in the open desert thanks to their deep, brilliant, and acute eyes.
Many of the original hound features of this breed have been maintained. It is quite independent and reserved towards strangers. Although it enjoys human interaction, unlike some other breeds, it does not require human interaction. As long as their requirements are addressed, they are content to be left alone. Due to their brilliance, they are quickly bored and require stimulation. This could come in the shape of puzzle toys, games, or training tools. They are wonderful apartment pets since they are quiet and collected.
