Salvia
The mint family's biggest genus is Salvia (Lamiaceae). Salvia is a flowering plant with medicinal and decorative uses. Salvia is a beautiful addition to any garden. This plant is resilient, simple to grow, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance when grown in the appropriate conditions. They do, however, require adequate drainage and hot, dry conditions in order to grow. The magnificent dark green blossoms of this plant emerge in late spring and endure for much of the summer. They attract pollinators, and your yard may transform into a butterfly lover's dream. Year-round color is provided by purple bracts and semi-evergreen gray leaves (although you can expect some leaf drop in colder winter conditions).
Aside from its aesthetic appeal, the plant contains herbal compounds that can help with sore throats, bad digestion, and other ailments. In Latin, sage means "to cure". Sage has been regarded as a sacred herb since ancient times, with the Romans believing that it could cure all ailments and extend human life. The Chinese are also aware of the significance of sage, believing it to be a medicinal plant capable of healing infertility.
