Dr. Phil Santucci has been in private practice for the first 30 years in general dentistry and now specializes in orthodontics. He earned his Ph.D. in Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry and went on to study at Saint Louis University, Center for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Santucci was the class president and Valedictorian of his graduating class, having won the coveted Marshall Prize and received his specialty and Master's degrees in orthodontics.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Santucci is also a past trustee of the Arizona State Dental Association and an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA). In recognition of his contributions to his profession, Dr. Santucci was awarded fellowships at the Pierre Fauchard Institute, the International College of Dentistry, and the International Academy of Dentistry. He is also currently teaching at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) for the past ten years and has worked at St. Joseph with cleft lip and cleft palate patients.
