SCG Ceramics was formed through the merger of five separate companies: Thai-German Ceramic Industry Public Ltd., The Siam Ceramic Group Industries Company Ltd., Sosuco & Group Co. Ltd., Thai Ceramic Co.Ltd., Thai Ceramic Co.Ltd., and Gemango Co. Ltd. SCG Ceramics has a 58 percent market share in Thailand, with a production capacity of 94 million square meters per year.
