Scrooged

"Scrooged" is a modern retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel "A Christmas Carol." Frank Cross, a cynical and selfish television executive, is known for his ruthless and heartless approach to business. As Christmas approaches, Frank is determined to produce a live TV special that will boost his network's ratings and secure his career.

However, on Christmas Eve, Frank is visited by the ghost of his former mentor, Lew Hayward, who warns him about the consequences of his selfish ways. Throughout the night, Frank encounters three more spirits: the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Future. Each ghost takes Frank on a journey through his past, present, and future, showing him the impact of his actions on others and the potential for redemption.

The film's mix of comedy, fantasy, and heartfelt moments offers a fresh and entertaining take on the timeless tale of transformation and redemption. Bill Murray delivers a captivating performance as Frank Cross with his trademark wit and charm, while the supporting cast, including Karen Allen as Claire and Bobcat Goldthwait as Frank's put-upon assistant, adds depth and humor to the story of "Scrooged."
