One of the best places to take in San Diego's Downtown coastline is Seaport Village. This lovely waterfront shopping and dining complex accurately recreates a neighborhood from the turn of the century with more than 70 delightful locations to buy, eat, and explore scattered across 14 acres. Seaport Village might seem like a completely separate world despite being only outside of Downtown. Native fauna makes its home among the serene ponds, fountains, and lakes, and there are businesses built in a variety of classic architectural styles, such as Victorian and Mexican.

Another highlight of visiting Seaport Village is shopping. While there are many surf gear shops where you can stock up on the newest attire, there is also a wonderful selection of gift shops providing all kinds of fascinating items. You won't have any trouble finding something delicious to bring home among the skincare shops, wine tasting area, and spicy sauce shop.

Don't miss the opportunity to ride the vintage carousel dating from 1895 after you've explored the restaurants and stores. Along the promenade, you can take leisurely strolls while admiring the beautiful views of Coronado Island, Coronado Bridge, and the nearby marina. The San Diego Pier Cafe is the most well-known restaurant in Seaport Village. Try traditional seafood meals like fish tacos or clam chowder while enjoying the greatest views on the waterfront to discover why this restaurant is so well-liked.
