Shear Jazz

Shear Jazz is based in Vermont's historic Bennington. They have put in a lot of effort to create a modern, relaxing, full-service salon and spa that the Bennington community sorely needed.

Haircuts, perms, color treatments, straighter, facial waxing, highlights, tanning services, pedicures, manicures, and acrylic nails are all available at Shear Jazz.Zina Mayer and Jennifer Naaktgeboren, who have a combined total of 48 years in the beauty industry, founded Shear Jazz in 2006. They wanted to give customers a comfortable, up-to-date environment.

They only hire stylists with at least three years of experience. Shear Jazz was voted #1 Hair Salon by the readers of the Bennington Banner in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014. Any Shear Jazz employee must continue their education. As a result, Shear Jazz sends stylists to Paul Mitchell schools in New York City. Paul Mitchell has named Shear Jazz a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon, recognizing us as one of the industry's top salons. This allows employees to keep up with the beauty industry's rapid changes and provide better service to clients.
