Shopping Tijuca
Shopping Tijuca, which opened in 1996, is the largest commercial complex in the neighborhood, with over 300 stores geared at servicing consumers in the vicinity who require qualified options to make their purchases. It's smaller than some of its larger competitors, but that's not a negative thing; everything is easy to find and there aren't long walks between shops. Great brands from the Rio de Janeiro, national, and international scenes are represented here, some with exclusive North Zone exclusivity. Gurumê, Madero, Reserva, FARM, and Osklen are among them. The shops are mostly cheaper, ranging from historical classics like C&A and its Brazilian counterpart Renner to mid-rangers like Oh, Boy and Eclectic.
Shopping Tijuca also includes three commercial towers connected to the mall, each with around 200 rooms and a variety of services such as the CDPI Image Diagnostic Clinic and the Sérgio Franco Laboratory, completing the alternative services offered in a single location. Going out for supper in a shopping mall is very typical in Brazil, and one of the most popular eating establishments in this mall is Outback, an Australian-themed restaurant famous for its burgers, steaks, and deep-fried onions, as well as enormous, super-cold beers.
