Shuckers Bar and Grill
While it is still unclear whether Erik Spolestra will be able to save the Miami Heat despite Dwayne Wade's resignation, Shuckers Bar and Grill has experienced its own comeback. The restaurant was able to recover after its deck collapsed in 2013, injuring over 30 people, two of whom were seriously, during Game 4 of the NBA Finals. But a year later, the 25-year-old pub was back in business, serving excellent ceviche, beer, and wings. Visit to see the revitalization and enjoy the views of the water.
This 30-year-old North Bay Village staple received a new lease on life in 2014 after the sea wall and deck underwent a comprehensive makeover. Customers can unwind with a pitcher of beer, wings, and oysters while enjoying unimpeded views of the Miami sunset over the water at this restaurant. Sports aficionados watching the most recent game on one of the flatscreen TVs can find some shelter from umbrellas and palm trees. Additionally, unlike many locations on this list, the on-site marina provides boat docking at no cost.
