Southern Cross Club
You don't have many options if you wish to visit Little Cayman, the smallest and least developed of the islands. If you wish to stay on the beach, the Southern Cross Club is your only alternative. It's right on the beach and has a cool, barefoot luxury vibe. Spend the day lounging on the beach in a hammock beneath a thatched-roof gazebo or swimming in the resort's pool. There are 14 different cottages of various sizes, all of which are located on the sand. Breakfast and lunch are provided buffet-style at the resort, which is all-inclusive. The menu is focused on seafood, with many items caught the day before they're served.
The resort features a comprehensive dive shop and rental operation, which is one of the major reasons for visiting Little Cayman. Another reason people travel is to go fishing, and the resort can plan for a variety of excursions. You may even fish directly from the sandbar, which stretches out into the water for a few hundred feet. The resort began as a private fishing club and has evolved into a boutique holiday destination over time.
