Stanford Engineering Everywhere
Stanford Engineering Everywhere (SEE) extends the Stanford experience to students and educators online and for free. The SEE course catalog includes one of Stanford's most popular series, three Introduction to Computer Science courses, taken by the majority of Stanford undergraduates, as well as more advanced courses in intelligence - artificial and electrical engineering. Watch complete lecture videos via streaming or download media anytime, anywhere on your computer, Mac, or mobile device. Access all course materials, including syllabus, handouts, homework and tests at any time.
Stanford Engineering Everywhere is a free resource. Available courses include programming methods, abstraction and modeling, machine learning, introduction to robotics, convex optimization, and introduction to linear dynamics. Stanford encourages fellow educators to use Stanford Engineering course materials in their own classrooms. The Creative Commons license permits the free and open use, reuse, adaptation, and redistribution of Stanford Engineering Everywhere materials.
SEE initially offered ten Stanford School of Engineering courses, including a three-course introduction series in computer science. Database, artificial intelligence, and computer programming courses are among those available. The SEE program was expanded in the fall of 2011 to include complete online courses in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Databases. Each course has an enrollment of 100,000 or more students, and students can register, see the courses, ask questions, and submit assignments online. Some courses are separated into "basic" and "advanced" levels.
