Start-up is a film that tells the story of young people starting a business and falling in love at Sandbox, which is known as the "Silicon Valley of Korea". If Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha helped Kim Seon Ho rise to become a passionate male lead, then Start-Up is a TV project that makes female fans regret because of the incomplete love story of "supporting actor" Han Ji Pyeong.

Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy) is an explorer with the aim of becoming the Steve Jobs of Korea. Samsan Tech Corporation was founded by Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk). However, the company has gone bankrupt in the last two years, requiring him to start over. Do San meets Dal Mi and forms a business partnership with her at Sandbox. However, with a mature nature, bravery, and discreetly safeguarding the one he loves, Kim Seon Ho's part utterly overwhelms Nam Joo Hyuk's male lead, but what he can't win forever is Seo Dal Mi's love (Bae Suzy).
