Translating as “Dawn of happiness”, Sukhothai has an appropriately warm ambience as soon as you step inside, which is further complemented by the restaurant’s welcoming service. This restaurant set in Le Méridien Village features wooden shutters from wall to wall, as well as detailed designs etched into the pillars.

The menu is diverse, but the potato and pumpkin dumplings, as well as the wok-fried beef noodles, are must-tries. While the majority of the meals are adequate, Sukhothai falls short of becoming a stand-alone destination. However, the pricing is modest, so it's worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood. Musical entertainment in the center of the room is a nice addition that helps to create an authentic Thai feel.
