Sunny Beach

Sunny Beach is Bulgaria's largest and perhaps most popular resort. It is around 30 kilometers from Burgas, near Nessebar, one of the country's most beautiful cities. It began as a local family beach, but it has now grown to become the country's primary tourist destination. Hundreds of bars and restaurants line the beach, providing ample amenities for both children and adults, as well as a limitless array of sports and activities and a diverse cultural and musical program. In the months of July and August, Sunny Beach is one of Europe's party capitals, with clubs and pubs packed with revelers. It is also one of those rowdy Bulgarian places that attract students and tourists and ensure they have all they need for an action-packed vacation. The infinite sand beach and nightlife are complemented by a water park and an amusement park, while during the day, a variety of activities such as diving and day tours are available.

Both Burgas and Varna airports have direct flights to Sunny Beach. There are several bus routes that run between the beach and cities like Varna, Burgas, and Sofia.
