Super Junior
Super Junior, also known as SJ or SuJu, is a boy band from South Korea formed by SM Entertainment. With the release of the digital single "Twins" (Knock Out) on November 6, 2005, they made their official debut.
With Kyuhyun's joining in 2006, the music act had 13 members and operated as a full group rather than a rotational concept that was initially intended, similar to how the current NCT operates. The group proved highly successful in Japan similar to TVXQ, which was a huge market for K-pop in the 2000s. Super Junior, one of the longest-lasting boy bands in K-pop, has seen a few lineup changes as members leave SM. Their most recent album, The Road: Winter for Spring, was released in February 2022.
