Sveucilite u Zagrebu (University of Zagreb), ranked first among the best universities in Croatia was founded in 1874 and is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the big city of Zagreb. Sveucilite u Zagrebu (UNIZG) is a large coeducational Croatian higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Agencija za znanost I visoko obrazovanje (Agency for Science and Higher Education).
