The Breaker

Korean martial arts webtoon (manhwa) "The Breaker" was created by Jeon Geuk-jin and Park Jin-hwan. It was first released in 10 volumes by Daewon C.I. in Korea and Tokyopop in North America after being serialized on the Korean website Naver from 2007 to 2010. It is one of the best murim manhwa.

Shi-Woon Yi, a shy high school student who is frequently teased by his peers, is the focus of the story. He eventually encounters famed martial artist Chun-Woo Han, who becomes his new master and teacher. Shi-Woon learns about the shadowy martial arts world and the perilous power conflicts between several martial arts clans as he studies under Chun-Woo.

The Breaker is renowned for its complex plot, compelling characters, and exciting action sequences. It has received accolades for portraying martial arts realistically and for how it examines the concepts of power, loyalty, and treachery. "The Breaker: New Waves," the second book in the series, continues the plot while introducing fresh characters and challenges.
