The British International School Ukraine
The British International School Ukraine (BISU) is a famous IB school in Ukraine that's part of the Cambridge IB School group. It has three schools in two cities, educating students from grades three to eighteen. BISU combines top British and Ukrainian education programs. The school is an active member of the Black Sea Schools Group and COBIS (the Council of British International Schools), focusing on taking good care of each student, offering quality education, supporting parents, and building a strong BISU community.
BISU is like a big, friendly global family that believes in learning throughout life. At the Pechersk Bilingual Kindergarten, kids aged three to five get a well-rounded education that mixes British and Ukrainian early education methods.
After Kindergarten, kids move up to the British International School Ukraine Primary School. They keep learning following the English National Curriculum, adding to the knowledge and English skills they started in their early years.
For students aged 6 to 18, the British International School in Ukraine also offers online classes that follow the National Curriculum for England. In Year 11, students take the Cambridge IGCSE exams to get an International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
In Years 12 and 13, students can do the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level programs, which are well-known and accepted by universities worldwide. The school also has a Ukrainian program for students who want a Ukrainian State-Standard Certificate of General Secondary Education.
