The Daily NK

Daily NK is an online newspaper based in Seoul, South Korea. This is a news site that specializes in reporting on different aspects of North Korean society from information gathered from inside and outside North Korea through the staff at Daily NK.

The site will operate on funding from a variety of private and donor organizations, including the National Foundation for Democracy. The downside to the site was its poor security, so a security research group later linked the attack to a North Korean group. Later, The Daily NK claimed that it discovered its breach but didn't want to make the users public and also claimed that the breach only affected employees.
